Specialized temperature meters - pyrometers - are used for precise and non-contact measurement of the surface temperature of the tested object. The pyrometer is equipped with a special optical system that detects the emitted, reflected and sent energy and focuses it in the detector. The optical data is then converted by the electronic system into a temperature value. Pyrometers are used in areas with specific temperature conditions. With useful functions such as automatic range selection, alarm for low and high temperatures and the DATA HOLD function (freezing the displayed measurement data), the device offers even more possibilities. The backlit LCD display allows easy reading of the measurement even in poor lighting and in the dark.
